1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Arrow Puzzle: Cozy Jungle Zen is developed and published by Pragat Inc ("we", "us", "our"), an independent software studio. For the purposes of the GDPR we are the data controller for this game, and under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we are the data fiduciary.
This policy covers the Android game distributed through Google Play
under the package identifier
inc.pragat.arrow_puzzle. It does not cover Google
Play, Google's own services, or any advertiser whose ad you choose
to tap.
By installing and playing the game you accept this policy. If you do not agree with it, please uninstall it.
2. Information we collect
We collect nothing directly. The game has no user accounts, no registration, no login and no user-generated content. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other directly identifying information, and we operate no servers that receive data from the game.
Collected by third-party SDKs. The Google SDKs built into the game automatically collect certain technical and advertising data on their own infrastructure:
- a Firebase app instance identifier, your device model, operating system version, country and in-game events;
- crash logs and the state of your device at the moment of a crash;
- your device's advertising identifier (GAID), IP address, other device identifiers, ad interaction data, and approximate location inferred from your IP address.
We see analytics and crash information only in aggregate reports. We cannot use it to identify you.
3. How we use information
- To improve the game — aggregate analytics tell us which levels players find too easy or too difficult.
- To fix bugs — crash reports let us identify and resolve stability issues quickly.
- To serve advertisements — AdMob uses device and ad-interaction data to serve ads and measure their performance, which is what funds the game being free.
We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond those listed above.
4. Permissions
The game requests network access, which the advertising and analytics SDKs need in order to function. It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, storage, SMS or phone permissions.
Where a future version requires an additional permission, it will be listed here and on the Play Store listing before it ships.
5. Third-party services and processors
The game uses the following third-party services. Each operates under its own privacy policy, which governs how your data is processed:
| Service | Data it collects | Policy |
|---|---|---|
| Firebase Analytics | App instance ID, device model, OS version, country, gameplay events. No directly identifying information. | policies.google.com |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash logs, device state at time of crash, device model, OS version. No directly identifying information. | policies.google.com |
| Google AdMob | Advertising ID (GAID), IP address, device identifiers, ad interaction data, approximate location inferred from IP. | policies.google.com |
| Google Play | Distribution and installation of the game. | policies.google.com |
These providers may store and process data in data centres outside your country. Where personal data is transferred internationally, that transfer relies on the safeguards Google offers under its terms, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses where applicable.
6. Advertising and your choices
The game displays ads powered by Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to show you personalised ads based on inferred interests, to cap how often you see the same ad, and to measure performance.
You can opt out of interest-based advertising at any time:
- Android 12 and later — Settings → Google → All services → Ads → Delete advertising ID.
- Android 11 and earlier — Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
- Manage your ad preferences online at adssettings.google.com.
Opting out does not remove ads; it means the ads you see are no longer personalised.
7. Data retention and deletion
-
On your device — the only data stored
locally is your game progress and audio preferences, held in
Android's
SharedPreferences. This never leaves your device through our code, and uninstalling the game deletes it. - Held by Google — analytics, crash and advertising data is retained by Google under its own retention policies. Firebase Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months by default.
- Stop all collection — uninstalling the game ends any further collection by these SDKs.
We hold no account or profile about you, so there is no account for us to delete.
8. Security
Your game progress is held in app-private storage that other applications cannot read. Data collected by the Google SDKs is transmitted over encrypted connections and secured by Google's own infrastructure controls.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, there is no store of player data on our side that could be exposed in a breach.
9. Children's privacy
The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the game is not submitted to Google Play's Designed for Families programme.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us at the address in section 12 and we will take steps to remove it promptly.
The advertising SDK collects an advertising identifier from whichever device the game runs on, regardless of who is playing. If a child plays this game on your device, we recommend turning off ads personalisation and deleting the advertising ID as described in section 6.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights under laws including the EU and UK GDPR, the California CCPA/CPRA, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, over data collected about you by our third-party providers:
- Access — request a copy of the data held about you.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data.
- Opt out — opt out of personalised advertising, as described in section 6.
- Objection and restriction — object to or ask for a restriction on particular processing.
- No sale of personal information — we do not sell your data.
Because we do not directly collect personal data, most requests should be directed to Google through its privacy policy and data management tools. You are welcome to contact us at the address in section 12 with any question, and you retain the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the revised policy will be posted on this page and the "Last updated" date above will change, and the Play Store listing's Data Safety section will be updated to match. Continued use of the game after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
